The portfolio of federal minister for revenue division has been taken back from Hammad Azhar a day after he became appointed to the position, it emerged on Wednesday.
as a substitute, Azhar has now been appointed the federal minister for economic Affairs department, consistent with a notification issued through the cabinet division.
On July 8, a notification issued with the aid of the cabinet division had found out that Azhar, the previous minister of state for revenue, were appointed the federal minister for sales department.
however, in a "partial modification" of its July eight notification, the cupboard division on Tuesday announced that prime Minister Imran Khan has now appointed Azhar as the federal minister for monetary Affairs department, at the same time as Dr Shaikh has been restored to the office of sales division adviser.
Dr Shaikh will now not keep the workplace of adviser to the high minister on financial affairs.
The cabinet division said its previous notification about Azhar being appointed the federal minister for sales division "may be handled as withdrawn".
