Afghan peace talks with the united states in Doha were paused for consultations with better leaders on both aspects, the Afghan Taliban spokesman advised Anadolu organization on Wednesday.

Zabihullah Mujahed, the Taliban spokesperson, said the talks might resume soon. “the previous day, there has been a quick assembly, then a few matters remained [unresolved], requiring each sides seek advice from their leaders. That session will take area, and shortly talks will resume,” he said.

On Tuesday, Zalmay Khalilzad, the unique US envoy to Afghanistan, left Doha for Beijing en path to Washington amid full-size talks with the Taliban.
