KARAK: citizens of Tappi Kanda, Tappi Jama and adjoining localities have demanded construction of pedestrian bridges at busy thoroughfares on the Indus highway as the ongoing dualisation of the primary artery has made it not possible for the people to go the road.

speaking to newshounds the alternative day they said rankings of human beings had misplaced their lives while crossing the toll road at busy places. They stated that that they had brought the difficulty into the notice of the country wide dual carriageway Authority numerous times, but to no avail.


The residents warned to show violent if the NHA did now not build overhead bridges to facilitate the humans in crossing the road with none problem. They pointed out that pedestrian bridges throughout the toll road had to be built at all busy locations, inclusive of the Culvert Chowk, Tarkha Koi Chowk, prison Chowk, Tangori Sar Chowk, Amberi Kala Chowk, Hamidan Chowk and Jama Chowk.

meanwhile, the citizens of Mithakhel met with JUI-F leader Kamal Darwesh and demanded of him to take up the problem of creation of overhead bridges with the government involved.

budget presented: The Banda Daud Shah tehsil council on Wednesday provided Rs70 million annual budget for 2019-20.

The council’s session was presided over by using convener Malik Speena Jan.
