the european has pledged 800 million euros, its international Cooperation and improvement Commissioner Neven Mimica advised a conference in the Mauritanian capital, which hosts a fledgeling African nearby force preventing militants, known as the G5 Sahel.

France “will make investments 500 million euros to benefit the priorities” of the G5 Sahel, added French overseas Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.
