QUETTA: The Balochistan excessive court (BHC) on Wednesday stopped the Election commission of Pakistan (ECP) from carrying out the delimitation manner within the province for the neighborhood authorities elections.

Justice Nazeer Ahmed Langove ordered the ECP to halt delimitations in Balochistan until the following hearing in the remaining week of February.

President of the Balochistan excessive court docket Bar affiliation Shah Mohammad Jatoi had filed a petition asking the excessive courtroom to permit the government to amend the nearby our bodies’ Act, 2010, before undertaking the delimitation of constituencies.

Election Commissioner, Balochistan, Ghulam Iswar Khan stated the ECP had stopped the delimitation procedure within the province after the excessive court’s order.
