BANNING, Calif. (AP) — Animal manipulate officials are caring for a french fry-munching ferret deserted outdoor city corridor in Banning, California.

Officers say the brown-and-white weasel-like creature was discovered in a crate with a pile of fries early Wednesday.

Town workers wrapped the animal in a towel and taken it inside no matter its stinky odor.

Video released by means of Riverside County branch of Animal services indicates the ferret fortuitously munching the fries, which spokesman John Welsh says is its favorite deal with.

California regulation prohibits ownership of ferrets. Welsh says whoever left the ferret ought to face a misdemeanor rate for abandonment of a puppy.
