ISLAMABAD (APP) - Islamabad Police Wednesday nabbed two men and women of an inter- provincial gang allegedly worried in ice smuggling and recovered 420 gram ice from their possession, a police spokesman stated.

Following directions of Inspector general of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar, he said special teams have been constituted by DIG (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed to arrest drug pushers concerned in drug smuggling.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Muhammad Umer Khan constituted unique teams of Khanna police to make sure arrest of those concerned in narcotics smuggling.


Khanna Police groups succeeded to bust two members of inter-provincial gang involved in ice smuggling.

They were identified as Karman s/o Malang Khan resident of Mohmand corporation and Haji Gul s/o Mirza Khail resident of Karkhan Jamrud avenue Peshawar.

Police team recovered 420 gram ice worth Rs126,000,0 from their possession.

Case has been registered against them and started similarly investigation.

DIG (Operations) Waqar Ud din Syed has liked this universal overall performance, he stated adding it's miles the prime obligation of police to minimize drug pushing activities and each feasible attempt might be made to make certain it.

Following guidelines and steerage of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar, he stated utmost efforts would be made to scale back crime.

The DIG has advised all police officials for expert attitude in policing affairs and said slow attitude would no longer be tolerated.
