PESHAWAR: The Sarhad Chamber of trade and industry (SCCI) has hailed the decision to permit empty vans and boxes stuck on Afghanistan side to transport to the Torkham border, and urged both Kabul and Islamabad to do away with the trust deficit to reinforce bilateral exchange.

In a announcement issued here on Tuesday, SCCI president Faiz Mohammad Faizi said the selection might deliver similarly raise to Afghan transit exchange between Pakistan and Afghanistan and could additionally facilitate the enterprise community on each sides of the border.

The empty vans and bins, which remained stuck on Afghanistan aspect for beyond many weeks, had began arriving at Torkham border, he stated, adding hundreds of empty vehicles and packing containers have been held in Khwar Maidan location near Torkham border.
