PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan birthday party has introduced to launch a protest movement towards the government after Eidul Fitr over charge hike, imposition of recent taxes, overseas loans and amnesty scheme.

Addressing a news convention at Peshawar Press club on Thursday, QWP provincial chief Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao advised different political parties to join arms with them to put off the rulers.

He stated that it become the right time for the political parties to overlook their personal agendas and give priority to country wide troubles in any other case the flood of rate hike could hit the state shortly because of wrong economic regulations of the government.


Flanked by means of QWP workplace-bearers Tariq Ahmed Khan and Asad Khan Afridi, Mr Sherpao said that authorities surrendered to IMF for a mortgage of $6 and sold out key institutions to the mortgage organization. He stated that PTI leadership had again and again criticised the successive governments for availing foreign loans and described the same as anti-country agreements but then its authorities become now not feeling any hesitation to sign such agreements with pride. He said that leaders of the ruling celebration have been the main beneficiaries of the amnesty scheme.

The QWP chief urged the government to make public the conditions of IMF mortgage to ensure transparency. He asked top Minister Imran Khan to admit his failure and stop blaming the preceding governments for the economic disaster.
